So if you tried to access the blog or any of my other sites today you would have noticed that you couldn’t. It said forbidden or something of the sort. I wasn’t really happy when I saw this, and didn’t know why it was happening. So I logged into the 1and1 control panel, and it said under status that my account was locked. I was like what the hell, I don’t have anything illegal on the server and I pay me bill…or so I thought. I immediately called tech support getting ready to bitch at them. It turns out that when my credit card expired and I got a new one I never updated the new information on 1and1. So they locked my account when they saw the credit card had expired. So I updated the information and 20 minutes later I was back online.

Moral of the story…. always make sure your payment information is up to date.
