Word of mouth is a huge promotional tool, the more people that know who you are and what you do the more clients you will have. Thats why it’s a good idea to get involved, meet other people, and tell them that you are a web designer. Even if they don’t require your services, they might know some one that does. The more people that know who you are, and the more designers you are friends with means more work and more recognition. On top of all that, most designers and developers in the web industry are really great friendly people, that are fun to be with. So go out there and meet some new people!
